1st Announcement and Call for Papers

NAFEMS invites to the 2nd European Conference on Simulation Process and Data Management (SDM). After the very successful 1st Conference in Frankfurt in November 2010, the NAFEMS SDM working group decided to organise the second conference this year.

This landmark conference addresses the breakthrough technology of SDM and will help participants better understand the benefits gained from implementing a Simulation Data Management system and how to save time, reduce development costs, and improve time-to-market.

Abstract submission

Abstracts of 300-600 words should be submitted for consideration by

5^th September 2011.

Abstracts should be clearly marked with author‘s name, organization, address, fax, phone numbers and email address. Abstracts shall be send by e-mail to roger.oswald@nafems.org. Authors whose abstracts will be accepted are asked to prepare an extended abstract (typically 1-2 pages) and a PowerPoint presentation. Full written papers will not be required.

Exhibition

The Conference will be accompanied by an exhibition of software and hardware vendors, solution providers, and consultants. Please request further information about exhibition opportunities.

Registration fees

NAFEMS members: Free
NAFEMS members can apply seminar credits towards free attendance at this event.This event will charge 4 seminar credits per delegate.
NAFEMS member without seminar credits: 440 Euro.
Non NAFEMS members: 660 Euro.

The registration fee includes attendance at the conference, one copy of the proceedings, lunches, break refreshments, and beverages & snacks in the evening of the first day. Hotel accommodation is not included.

Travel information
The hotel is located in Unterschleißheim near Munich. From the airport we recommend to use a taxi. You can pre-order a taxi via the hotel when booking your hotel room - you will be picked up at the arrival gate (costs approximately 35 Euro).
If you are travel by city train (S-Bahn) please stop at Unterschleißheim. There are usually taxis at the train station but we recommend to pre-order 20 min. ahead by calling +49 - (0) 89 - 3178430 (24h service).
