Event Type:Workshop Location: Bilbao,Spain Date: November 15, 2007
|
AUTOSIM is a European initiative to support, strengthen and develop
the use of simulation within the European automotive industry. The
intention is to research Best Practices and potential Breakthrough
Technologies in three key areas:
- Integration of Simulation into the Development Process
- Materials Characterisation
- Increasing Confidence in the Use of Simulation
AUTOSIM is operating through a series of Technical Workshops. This
is the fifth in the series, but it is not necessary to have been to
the previous ones: the results of the previous workshops will be
summarised at the start of this meeting.
If you are interested in the automotive applications of engineering
simulation, you should attend.
If you have relevant information that you would be willing to
share, please submit details of your presentation by Oct. 24, 2007.
Contributions from members and non-members of the consortium are
equally welcome.
For full details, please click here to visit the Autosim event
pages.
The specific objectives of this workshop are: - Development of Best Practices - Investigating Breakthrough Technologies
AUTOSIM also intends to interact with the entire European
automotive industry through a proactive consultation process. An
important aspect of this workshop will be to finalise the contents
of a White Paper summarising the project recommendations to date.
For this reason, offers of presentations from consortium members
and those outside of the consortium are equally welcome.
