What are accepted practices in application of finite elements?
NAFEMS conducts various symposia, seminars and webinars to spread the technical know-how to various users across the globe. This webinar is an effort in the direction to spread the balanced view between accepted and best practices in the application of finite element method for the solving practical problems. This webinar concentrates on some important issues not limited to element quality, element size, etc., as practiced at present in various industries across the globe.
This webinar will provide the audience with:
This webinar is directed at practitioners of airframe / automotive engineers involved in the massive meshing, analysis and post processing; especially their technical managers. All practicing finite element stress analysts use auto meshing/batch meshing programs in their daily activities. The accepted practices ensure the quality of the product without compromising on the delivery schedules. The knowledge of the behaviour of the product in a global sense under the given loading/boundary conditions must be used while interpreting the finite element results. A balanced approach between the best practices and accepted practices will ensure a reasonable product is delivered to clients.
