Finite Element Analysis of (Reinforced) Concrete Structures - 19-22 March

This course focuses on the application of the finite element method in structural analysis of concrete structures. The lectures will be followed by exercises to provide participants with hands-on experience relevant to the presented theory.   Subject matter includes a focus on nonlinear analysis of (reinforced) concrete structures,with emphasis on crack modelling. Delegates will learn good-practice in nonlinear finite element analysis. They will learn also criteria for choosing among different crack models available, convergence criteria, and setting the corresponding parameters.
