Cranes Software has announced the latest version of NISA comprising of several new features that promise major improvements in performance, usability and graphing capabilities.
NISA V 14.0 is essentially a family of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) programs used for engineering analysis in automotive, aerospace, energy & power, civil and electronics industries.
NISA V 14.0 has enhanced 'Code-checking' functionality in DISPLAY III for 3D beam element as per AISC (America Institute of Steel Construction) and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and the use of OpenGL in DISPLAY IV provides for an improved level of 3D graphics.
It is said to be user-friendlier with a considerably enhanced GUI for pre-processing in ENDURE which is the fatigue & fracture mechanics module of NISA.
"The new version was developed based on customer feed back and incorporating the latest techniques which enabled us to enhance key features of NISA," said Asif Khader, CEO & MD, Cranes Software.
Ramdass, VP, NISA Product development group hopes that V14 will be received especially well in the energy & power industry. According to him, "The major highlights of V14 are the improved rendering of objects in the pre/post processor and the overall improved usability of NISA with the addition of many useful features."
