Wilde, the Stockport based FEA, CFD and Reliability Engineering solution specialist, welcomes Neal Symms to their business development team. In November Autodesk announced Wilde as the first UK and Ireland channel partner for their plastic injection moulding simulation software, Moldflow.
Wilde has a policy for business development managers to have a strong engineering background within the sectors they serve. Neal has over 14 years experience in injection moulding within the engineered plastic components industry; initially as a designer and subsequently as an applications engineer with Moldflow and Autodesk. Consequently, Neal is well positioned to provide advice and guidance to companies looking to improve their manufacturing efficiency and quality through the application of injection moulding simulation technology.
“UK companies are constantly facing competition and as they seek ways to gain a competitive advantage, simulation software is often part of the key to success”, comments Neal. He continues “the sector is a driver for change on environmental issues; it aims to recycle and use bio-degradable materials at every opportunity, resulting in a positive impact on the environment and energy usage”.
Dr Brian Miller, Wilde’s Sales and Marketing Director said of the recent appointment, “I am delighted to welcome Neal to the team as he strengthens our position in offering manufacturing simulation solutions; he has certainly joined Wilde at an exciting time, from launch of our re-brand and web site, through to celebrating 30 years in business.”
