CHARLOTTE, May 11, 2010 -- NAFEMS, the premier global organization dedicated to the advancement and improvement of engineering simulation, announced today that Altair Engineering will be a Platinum Sponsor of the NAFEMS 2010 Virtual Conference.
In today's world, corporations and employees are re-engineering themselves to keep up with an ever changing economic and market environment. In order to meet these needs and provide additional educational opportunities to the engineering analysis and simulation community, NAFEMS North America will be hosting the NAFEMS 2010 Virtual Conference on September 8th-9th, 2010 .
The NAFEMS 2010 Virtual Conference will be the first independent virtual conference in the engineering analysis and simulation community. This is an opportunity for you to attend a conference with leading experts from around the world.
NAFEMS 2010 Virtual Conference will bring together the worldwide leading visionaries, developers, and practitioners of CAE-related technologies and business processes to share relevant trends and roadmaps, to explore common themes, and to address these issues in an open forum. The goal is to provide attendees with the best “food for thought and action” to deploy CAE over the next several years.

NAFEMS NA 2010 Virtual Conference will include keynote speakers, exhibits, and breakout sessions exploring the following subjects:
In the first instance, abstracts of 300-600 words should be submitted for consideration by June 30th, 2010. Abstracts must be clearly marked with presentation title, author's name, organisation, address, fax, phone numbers and email address. E-mail your abstract to na2010@nafems.org .
Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be asked to prepare an extended abstract (typically 2-4 pages) and a PowerPoint presentation. Full written papers will not be required.
If you intend to submit an abstract, please click here to visit the Conference webpages, and notify us of your intent.
The conference will be of interest to all analysts, engineers, team leaders and managers that have a responsibility for ensuring that a fit-for-purpose engineering solution is obtained from the use of modern simulation software. Those involved with the manufacturing and design process at any level will benefit from attendance.
The event is open to both members and non-members of NAFEMS.
Attendance is free for NAFEMS members, subject to sufficient remaining seminar credits.
