NAFEMS Italia Update

NAFEMS Italia has now been  lawfully constituted as a wholly-owned subsidiary company of NAFEMS Ltd. This will enable further activities to take place within Italy, and will facilitate further collaboration with other organisations.

The seminar 'Models for Noise Mapping', was held on November 24th in Firenze, and was a great success, attracting over 100 attendees. Plans are already being put together for the 2006 seminar programme. NAFEMS Italia is also collaborating with TCN (Tecnologie per il Calcolo Numerico) to provide courses in many different analysis related fields.

Consideration is being given to developing the first of NAFEMS e-learning courses, in conjunction with NAFEMS' Education & Training Working Group and Enginsoft.
