NAFEMS Nordic Up and Running

The first NAFEMS Nordic seminar, “Component and System Analysis Using Numerical Simulation Techniques – FEA, CFD, MBS”, was held on the 23rd and 24th of November 2005 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

More than 85 delegates attended the seminar and more than 20 presentations from industry, research and academia as well as software vendors were given. The keynote presentation was given by Mr. Theman, from Nokia. Chairman of the seminar was Aage Torvund from MSC.Software and member of the NAFEMS Nordic Steering Committee. success for NAFEMS - thanks to all involved: NAFEMS Nordic Steering Committee, chairman, speakers, exhibitors, and of course delegates.

The next NAFEMS Nordic seminar will be held in Copenhagen/Roskilde, Denmark, 31 May – 1 June 2006. The topic will be “Prediction of Failure in Design and Simulation”.
