Visitors to the NAFEMS website can now pay for their purchases in one of three currencies. In response to feedback from NAFEMS members and the wider community, the facility to be billed in Euro and US Dollars, as well as Pounds Sterling, has now been added to the NAFEMS website.
By selecting your nominated currency from these options, customers can now pay for their goods in the currency which suits them best.
"We have implimented this functionality on the NAFEMS website in response to recent feedback received from wesbite visitors" , commented David Quinn, Head of Marketing and Communications at NAFEMS. "One of the major issues customers commented on was the lack of flexibility in the way they could pay for membership, publications and seminar attendance. By introducing this functionality, we hope that both new and existing customers and members will find buying goods from the NAFEMS website a much simpler experience from an administrative perspective."
As well as introducing the multi-currency feature, NAFEMS also recently launched the "e-library" facility. This ground-breaking initiative allows for a selection of NAFEMS publications to be available in downloadable PDF format to NAFEMS members. And, in a further step-forward, NAFEMS can now offer PDF access to the entire library of FEA and CFD publications to corporate members, as an additional option with their membership.
"For some time, NAFEMS has been working with a few of our larger corporate members to devlop a system whereby they can access all of our documents in PDF format", commented David Quinn. "This high-value facility, which comes as an additional option in our corporate membership package, is ideal for large organisations who have large analysis teams split across different physical locations. The feedback so far has been highly encouraging, and we hope to see many more large organisations taking advantage of this new initiative."
The NAFEMS website continues to receive over 45,000 visits per month, making it one of the most popular independent analysis portals on the web. These initiatives are part of a comprehensive development plan which will continue to provide new facilties and functionality to visitors on an ongoing basis.
