PDF Access to over 140 NAFEMS Publications now available
NAFEMS has announced that its recently launched Corporate E-library has been updated, providing online access to over 140 if its publications in PDF format.
The NAFEMS E-library is available to all corporate members as an additional option with their membership. E-library subscribers have full access to PDF versions of the most relevant and popular NAFEMS publications, updated regularly to include all new publications produced by the organisation.
"In the past year we have seen a huge rise in the number of member companies who want to take advantage of this additional service", commented David Quinn, Head of Marketing and Communications at NAFEMS. "Having online access to such an extensive library of valuable information is proving to be an outstanding advantage to the companies who have signed up."
Based on Adobe PDF technology, no additional software is required to access the service, which provides PDF downloads of NAFEMS publications embossed with a watermark containing details of the document license.
"Users can save the documents to their local machines, print copies for personal use, and copy and paste text for reference purposes", Mr Quinn continued. "The growth of web-based facilities such as the E-library has provided companies with the opportunity to disseminate business-critical information to their employess in an extremely efficient and cost-effective manner."
An extensive range of NAFEMS material covering Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), CAD/CAM, Multiphysics, Quality and Standards information and Software Benchmarks is available through the E-library service, which can be purchased as an addition to the standard NAFEMS membership.
For larger corporations, the e-library can also be hosted 'in-house' on the companys corporate intranet, providing an 'on-site' solution which can be managed by your own IT department.
