EASIT2 is a European (non-profit) project preparing a framework for defining and recording analyst skills in all sectors of engineering which could lead to a professional qualification in engineering analysis and simulation. The potential benefits to the engineering industry include improvements in business performance, safety, compliance with customer/legal regulations and staff development/retention. The cross-sector involvement in the project also provides a valuable opportunity for the industry to share ideas.
