NAFEMS has teamed up with ABAQUS, ANSYS, Fluent and
CD-Adapco to launch the 2006 Student Award scheme. The winners
will each receive a £500 prize. The awards will be presented
at a NAFEMS seminar, and will be widely publicised throughout the
engineering community.
As well as the prize itself, the successful students will get:
- the chance to meet many prospective employers at the awards ceremony
- a unique attribute to include on their CV and discuss during interviews
The winning educational establishment will gain some prestige and considerable publicity.
It is extremely easy to take part. The application process has been made very straightforward. Any of your undergraduate students whose project relates to Finite Element Analysis or Computational Fluid Mechanics is eligible to apply. All that they will need to do is provide a copy of their final project report before the deadline next May.
Project supervisors are asked to support their students by registering an Expression of Interest as soon as possible here, where details of the competition rules can also be viewed.
