Resume #4:
• Computer based simulations began in 1980 with Finite
Difference thermal analysis, and in 1988 I began working with the
Algor Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
• In 2004 I added Nastran & Femap FEA tools and Fatigue
Wizard for performing extensive fatigue analyses. These tools are
used for stress, thermal, dynamic, and fatigue analyses for both
linear and nonlinear problems.
• I have been doing manual engineering calculations for many
years since my undergraduate days in ME. These manual calculations
can be automated via: Mathcad, Excel, or custom C/C++ computer
programs. For mechanical design I began using AutoCAD in 1984,
Mechanical Desktop in 1999, Inventor in 2000, SolidWorks in 2004,
and SpaceClaim in 2007.
