MMI Engineering’s core service area is in the analysis and design of structures and components subjected to unique or extreme environmental conditions. Our projects often include the development of complex analytical models to simulate the response of a structure or facility as it is subjected to extreme loading conditions resulting from earthquake, hurricanes, explosion or blast forces, fire, accidental impact and extreme wind.

Many of these investigations involve the application of linear and/or non-linear static and dynamic analysis methods. Our work in the area of blast load assessment includes the characterization of the loading source, the definition of loads using sophisticated computational fluid dynamics techniques, and the analysis of structural response.

We provide integrated risk management services (economic, environmental and safety) using the latest industry tools. We also provide seismic hazard assessment services and can develop seismic design criteria for locations worldwide.
