I have been extensively involved in CFD of sports related applications for 17 years - everything from motor racing to sailing and including all summer and winter Olympic sports. I carried out the first full Navier Stokes CFD Simulation of a complete Formula 1 Car in 1996. I also have considerable knowledge of what is going on worldwide in CAE applications related to Sport and I am on the Steering Group for the ISEA, International Sports Engineering Association. I have been Keynote Speaker at many Sports Engineering Conferences and guest lecturer at both the UK and Australian Institutes of Sport.
