EUROPLEXUS

EUROPLEXUS is general Finite Element software for the non-linear dynamic analysis of Fluid-Structure systems subjected to fast transient dynamic loading:
- Explosions in enclosures;
- Study of shocks and impacts of projectiles on structures;
- Analysis of pipelines in transient mode;
- Safety evaluations of complex Fluid-Structure systems under accidental situations.

Jointly developed since 2000, by the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), the Joint Research Centre(EC) and SAMTECH, EUROPLEXUS results from two ancestors: CEA’s CASTEM-PLEXUS and the former joint product PLEXIS- 3C developed since 1986 by CEA and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Community.
