Gene Allen

Gene Allen is a leader in establishing and managing collaborative development programs with a focus on getting new technologies to the market.   He is presently championing the adoption of stochastic simulation to improve the ability to use computers as tools for decision-making.  He works with aerospace, automotive, and other end-users as well as other technology companies and U.S. Federal agencies.  He recently co-authored “Collaborative R&D: Manufacturing’s New Tool” published by Wiley.  Previous positions include: Director Collaborative Development at the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences, Economic Development and Defense Procurement Assistant to U.S. Senator Robert C. Byrd, and Associate with Booz, Allen & Hamilton.  Mr. Allen served as nuclear-trained Navy officer after graduating from MIT.
