Call for Abstracts
We will soon open the Call for Abstracts for CAASE18, the Conference on Advancing Analysis & Simulation in Engineering. Presentations from all areas of simulation may be submitted for consideration; however, contributions which highlight one or more of the themes identified below are particularly welcomed.
Theme #1: Driving the Design of Physical & Biological Systems, Components & Products
Theme #2: Implementing Simulation Governance & Democratization
Theme #3: Advancing Manufacturing Processes & Additive Manufacturing
Theme #4: Addressing Business Strategies & Challenges
For a comprehensive listing of the topics associated with the above-mentioned themes, please visit the "CAASE Themes & Topics" page.
The impact of simulation and the extent to which it is deployed can vary considerably depending on company size and the associated industry sector. CAASE organizers encourage input and participation from a wide range of organizations – large and small, across all industries and domains that utilize engineering analysis and simulation.
Please note, as NAFEMS and DE are independent and vendor-neutral organizations, all submissions must avoid any overt commercialism.
Registration for Presenters
The conference registration fee will be heavily discounted for a person presenting a paper at the event. When there are multiple authors or presenters associated with a particular paper, only one person who will be presenting the paper may attend the conference at the heavily discounted rate. The other authors or presenters associated with a paper who plan to attend the conference are required to register at the member/non-member rate.
November 30th, 2017
As a first step, abstracts of 300-600 words should be submitted for consideration by November 30th, 2017.
Important Note: Ahead of the abstract submission start date, which is September 1st, we will publish a link for submitting your abstract(s).
Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be asked to prepare an extended abstract (typically 2-4 pages) and a PowerPoint presentation (peer-reviewed technical papers are not required).
If you have any questions leading up to the Abstract Submission start date, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
