Once you receive confirmation that your abstract has been accepted to the next stage, by the conference committee, please complete and return the below extended abstract template.
We would like the extended abstract to include further details of your presentation. The abstract should be no more than 4 pages, including figures. This abstract will be incorporated within the meeting proceedings, which will be distributed to delegates at the conference.
To allow sufficient time for the proceedings to be printed it is important that your extended abstract is submitted to NAFEMS by 11th May.
Full written papers are not required for the UK Conference.
Email your extended abstract to email@example.com
In addition to the extended abstract, we will also require a copy of your presentation in advance of the event. We would like your presentation to last for no more than 20 minutes, this will leave time for delegates to ask questions and discussion (approximately 5 minutes). We suggest that with the time allowed, your presentation should be no more than 25 slides in total. Please find below a presentation template to assist you when creating your presentation.
NAFEMS will be combining all presentations in advance of the conference and loading your final presentation onto a laptop computer at the venue. You will have the opportunity to view your presentation in the break before your session.
In addition, a copy of your presentation slides (as a .pdf, modified as necessary) will be available post-event, on the NAFEMS website.
Email your presentation to firstname.lastname@example.org upto 7MB in size, over 7MB please use wetransfer.com, a free website for sending large files.
Below is a speaker biography form. This brief form is designed to assist the chairman, when introducing you. Please return the completed form, along with your presentation.
The conference documentation should be submitted in a timely manner by email to email@example.com.
