DIANA FEA BV is pleased to invite you to its special training course on optimization of modeling workflow and results interpretation in DIANA program.
The course focuses on introducing new features regarding optimized workflow in modeling various civil and geotechnical applications based on the latest version of DIANA program. The presentations will be followed by exercises to provide participants with hands-on experience relevant to the presented concepts and tools.
Particular attention will be given to import various geometry models based on conventional CAD formats, inspecting and enhancing geometry objects by using healing tools, new concept of embedded elements, connections and composed elements will be presented. The effect of control settings for meshing various geometry objects will be highlighted, Python scripting and parametrization will be discussed, and finally, post-processing and various available features for results interpretation will be reviewed.
An overview on features and capabilities of coupling DIANA with other solutions by means of parametric engineering will be presented.
The training course consists of a balanced mixture of presentations and hands-on computer analyses with the DIANA finite element software. There will be a practical session regarding parametric engineering by use of DIANA, Rhino, Python and Karamba3D program presented by our guest lecturer, Robin van der Have of Royal HaskoningDHV.
