Expanding Traditional Aerospace Workflows into Abaqus
Attendees will learn about Dassault Systemes SIMULIA’s Abaqus solver and ancillary tools that are relevant to aerospace workflows, and how they compare and contrast with traditional aerospace linear solver codes (including Nastran). The will be exposed to similarities and differences, and we will demonstrate how Abaqus and its ancillary tools can be used to migrate Nastran models into Abaqus, modify Abaqus models to include advanced physics, and how Abaqus results can be utilized “stand-alone” or integrated back into traditionally Nastran-centric workflows.
Attendees are encouraged to bring existing models with them which are representative of their workflows and which can be used to demonstrate translation and modification from Nastran models into Abaqus models.
