Introduction to Simpack
Simpack is a leading Multi-Body Simulation tool used to aid engineers in the analysis and design of mechanical and mechatronic systems. The company was recently acquired by Dassault Systemes. The Simpack product suite is now part of the SIMULIA brand offering.
This seminar will outline how Simpack is used to help engineers fully comprehend and optimize systems. Benefits of this approach include:
- A vast reduction in the need for physical prototyping
- Reduced time-to-market
- Improved product quality and lifespan
Industrial examples will be used to show the range of studies that can be carried out using Simpack. We will also illustrate the technical and commercial benefits of conducting multi-body dynamic simulation. We will cover examples from the automotive, rail, powertrain, wind turbine and aerospace industries, where Simpack is primarily used for sub-system and complete system analyses, taking dynamic behaviour and control systems into account.
We will demonstrate how Simpack utilises the latest mathematical techniques to provide the highest degree of accuracy and reliability whilst still retaining its user-friendly qualities
