Mastering Finite Element Analysis Seminar in Leeds
We are delighted to announce Vince Adams, Autodesk Simulation expert will be working in conjunction with Symetri, in this tool-independent, free seminar focusing on expert tips to make every engineer successful with simulation using finite element analysis (FEA). My work with companies around the world, and many in this area, has helped me identify key concepts that beginner and long-time FEA users often struggle with.
Today’s CAD-embedded and graphical FEA interfaces make generating meshes and getting results easier than it has ever been. However, intro product training is no substitute for coaching in best-practices to maximize the value of the analysis or tips to avoid common mistakes nearly all new and many experienced users make. I look forward to seeing you in Leeds and fine-tuning your FEA skills. Registration info is pasted below or you can feel free to contact me directly with questions.
After this software-independent workshop, attendees will be able to answer the following questions:
- How can I determine if I have over-constrained my model?
- Do my loads really represent real-world behavior?
- Part or Assembly?
- What is the best CAD model to start with? Can I over-simplify?
- When should I use Shells, Beams, Plane Stress or Axisymmetry?
- Is my mesh converged?
- Do I need nonlinear?
- What result quantity is important for my material? My design criteria?
- Can I trust my results?
- Should I consider dynamic effects?
