STAR-CCM+ Adjoint Method: An Efficient Approach to Sensitivity Analysis

We cordially invite you to join us for an educational STAR-CCM+® Adjoint Workshop in Stuttgart on June 1, 2016!

One of the greatest challenges of engineering analysis is being able to understand how changes in geometry and flow features might influence your system’s performance. For a long time, the only way to gain insight into the sensitivity of engineering objectives to changes in input was to run multiple analyses and then analyze the results. The adjoint solver in STAR-CCM+ changed that paradigm, allowing for direct access to sensitivity information from a single simulation.

This workshop will provide an introduction to the adjoint solver of STAR-CCM+, the background of the adjoint technique, how it may be applied as well as a real industrial example. Further combination with parameter based advanced design exploration will give a brilliant overview in today’s unique features of our 3D simulation solution STAR-CCM+.

This event is free, but registration is required as seats are limited. Visit our event page at for further details.
