Subsea: Improving Safety and Mitigating Risk through Simulation
Companies are using simulation to understand and reduce equipment failures while simultaneously improving product longevity to reduce operating costs.
Flow assurance and subsea system engineering are an integral part of deepwater oil and gas exploration and production. Harsh environments combined with high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) wells present significant engineering challenges.
Prominent engineering companies address these challenges through the use of CD-adapco's industry-leading simulation technology. Computer-aided engineering methods are routinely used to analyze flow assurance and subsea systems. This seminar will provide a background on the benefits of engineering simulation to help you gain deeper insights into the performance of subsea equipment and engineering challenges.
The day's events will include guest presentations discussing the use of simulation in real-world engineering projects. Topics covered will include Erosion, Thermal analysis, Flow-Induced and Vortex-Induced Vibration, and Separators. We will have a demo and hands-on session with STAR-CCM+®, CD-adapco's flagship simulation tool.
This event is free, but registration is required.
