NAFEMS Dynamics Community

Mission

The NAFEMS Dynamics Community brings together representatives from industry, academia and software vendors to form a common body of understanding in dynamics. The Dynamics Community provides guidance on the optimum method, including the use of numerical, physical and logical models of systems, that should be employed to solve a particular dynamic engineering problem.

The Dynamics Community is a forum for discussions on the state-of-the-art dynamics theory and aims to share lessons learnt from a range of industries and applications.

Aims

The Dynamics Community aims to:

• provide the UK Simulation Community with state of the art and best practice in-person workshops, and also virtual events with worldwide reach;

• develop seminars and training on how to apply engineering simulation techniques to solve dynamics problems;
• be a community and provide a forum for engineers and scientists involved in dynamics engineering analysis.
