Dive CAE has rolled out powerful updates that boost simulation speed, accuracy, and usability across its cloud-native platform.

Smarter Geometry and Meshing
A new CAD Import (Beta) allows direct .STEP upload with automatic STL generation and part merging for cleaner assemblies. The updated Mesh Check Mode catches non-manifold edges and missing triangles before solving. Meanwhile, the Hexagonal Discretizer (Beta) is now up to 4× faster, improving numerical stability and packing density in complex geometries.

Greater Physical Accuracy
New Low Dissipation Operators improve energy conservation and flow fidelity, especially in multiphase and closed-system simulations.

Enhanced Visualization and Interface
Engineers can now apply per-part view modes, adjust translucency, and choose from multiple particle rendering styles. Persistent viewport settings, edge highlighting, drag-and-drop assembly management, and static clipping planes streamline model inspection and playback.

Advanced Analysis and Automation
New Volume Clips enable localized analysis and custom statistics. On Dive’s cloud VMs, Paraview Macros automate common post-processing steps, from parts tree creation to temporal analysis.

Performance and Collaboration
Rendering is up to 60× faster, delivering smooth interaction with large point-cloud cases. Dive also introduced direct meeting booking with its product team, giving users a clear voice in platform evolution.

These updates reinforce Dive CAE’s commitment to high-performance, engineer-first simulation, making complex physics faster, clearer, and easier to explore.
