
NAFEMS Iberia invites you to submit your abstract for consideration, in English, Spanish or Portuguese language. Submissions are welcomed from across the industry and from every area engaged in simulation within the topic. Presentations should be devoted to technical issues and should be of a strictly of non-commercial nature: it should describe the problem, the solution and results, the innovation and the justification.
Presentations are expected to last 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes discussion.
The best presentation of the conference, voted by the NAFEMS Iberia Steering Group, will be requested to publish in the NAFEMS technical journal EMAS.
The presentation must follow the defined “Presentation & Speaker Rules and Suggestions” (click on the underlined text to view the document)
1.Presentation (preferably Powerpoint, or pdf) as it will be used at the event.
The presentation will be reviewed by the Technical Committee according to the defined criteria. Presenters will be able to update their presentations, until the date defined below, but large changes will require a repeat of the review process.
2.Speaker Biography that will aid the Session Chairperson with the presentation introductions.
3.Speaker Declaration should be completed and signed, using the document provided. NAFEMS requests permission to distribute the presentations in pdf format to the event attendees and then provide this to members after a certain time interval (typically 6 months). NAFEMS acknowledges that some confidential information may be contained in the presentations and in this case a reasonably modified pdf version should be provided for distribution/viewing purposes.

Outstanding extended abstract submissions will be shortlisted by the Review Committee for potential publication in the peer-reviewed Engineering Modelling, Analysis and Simulation Journal. We will assist you in transitioning your conference paper into a journal article.
