We recognise that many companies still have limited resources in place to invest in equality, diversity, and inclusivity. As a result, companies are missing out in attracting and retaining a knowledgeable, experienced and diverse talent pool.

In partnership with Equate Scotland and the Association for BME Engineers (AFBE), and with funding from the Scottish Governments National Transition Training Fund, we have developed a new series that will support organisations to take steps towards a more inclusive workplace.

We have put together an exciting series for manufacturing companies to take part in and receive tailored consultancy and action planning support from our team of experts.

Course outline

The programme is delivered in two parts across three days and runs several times from January - May 2022

- Core knowledge - interactive and group training session focused on: skills to reduce inequality; inclusive recruitment; and positive action
- Tailored consultancy and action plan - a half-day consultancy session specific to your organisation that could cover: a review of existing HR recruitment practice; behaviours relating to equality, diversity, and inclusivity; coaching and mentoring; leadership training
