A set of ten benchmark tests for the free vibration of thin shell assemblies has been developed. The tests cover a range of geometries including flag, singly and doubly curved surfaces. Reference values for frequencies, modal masses and mode shape coefficients at selected points are presented. Example values obtained from coarse and fine finite element meshes, with a range of element types, are also presented.
