Modelica for Large Scale Cyber Physical Energy systems

This presentation featured at the NAFEMS France Seminar “A Digital Twin To Better Connect Multiphysics Simulation And The Real World”

About the Event

Digital twins are the basis of many design-production-operations improvement projects for complex and cyber physical systems. They must make it possible to better manage the evolution over time and space and interactions with the environment, predict drifts and optimize operation in a context of digital continuity. They have a significant impact on the modeling and simulation of systems at all methodological, process and organizational levels, and will bring great added value in companies to the use of traditional simulation.

The seminar addresses the following issues closely related to the use of digital twins:

  • First feedback on the implementation of pilot projects, construction challenges from the initial design (system architecture) or presentations of specific issues.
  • Evolution of integration and digital continuity needs between DMU, PLM and behavioral description data. Development around future platforms for the deployment of Digital Twins and standards.
  • Improved prediction and reliability of near real-time simulation in a context of access to massive or limited data?
