22nd April 2026 – NAFEMS, the International Association for the Engineering Analysis, Modelling and Simulation Community, is pleased to announce the launch of a new technical area in their competence framework. The competence framework, developed by the Impact, Shock and Crash Technical Working Group is designed to support engineers and scientist simulating short duration, highly non-linear events.
NAFEMS members can find the new framework in the Competence tracker. To add the new area into the tracker follow the instructions in the video below.
