Injection molding is a manufacturing process which produces parts mainly out of thermoplastic material. It allows mass production of complex shapes with precise dimensions and covers a broad product range from part weighing milligrams up to 150 kg, with a fast process cycle time usually ranging from seconds to just a few minutes.
