Nate has worked at Caterpillar for more than 30 years, holding various positions in the engine business and product development. He currently serves as Sr. Engineering Technical Team Leader in Caterpillar’s Virtual Product Development division, where he manages enterprise-level projects focused on advancing simulation and analysis within product development. Nate is also responsible for leading Caterpillar's initiatives to develop and implement reduced order models and digital twins. Previously, he oversaw validation planning for Caterpillar’s Tier 4 machine development programs. Earlier in his career, Nate held roles in design, testing, manufacturing, and purchasing within the engine business. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan.
