  1. Registration

The next step is to register. Please click HERE to return to the main page to register. Please be sure to log in prior to registering.As your abstract was submitted prior to the July 10thdate, pleasesuethe code “MP30” for 30% off your registration. Register byJuly 31stto secure your spot on the preliminary agenda.

  1. Extended Abstract

Please submit an extended abstract of 2 to 6 pages through the link provided in your acceptance email. Extended abstractsneed tobe submitted bySeptember 11th.This link will take you to your Presenter’s Portal where you will be able to control your extended abstract and other details.

  1. Housing

The conference will be held at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton hotel Detroit Downtown – Fort Shelby at 525 West Lafayette Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226. Please plan on booking your lodging at the hotel to assist us in meeting our room block requirements. Filling the room block helps keep our attendee costs down. Please book your lodging soon to ensure it is secured. The deadline for booking within our negotiated room block is Friday, October 9th. Please secure your room HERE.

  1. Biography

In your Presenter’s Portal, there will be a section available for your biography. Please include a few sentences which session chairs may use to introduce you for your presentation. If details are not provided byOctober 9thin the portal, you will be introduced by your name and presentation title.

  1. Presentation

Please submit an authorized PDF copy of your presentation for posting onto our Resource Center for attendees and NAFEMS members to access post-event. The deadline to submit this presentation PDF will be Wednesday, October 21st.

Presentation slots are limited to 30 minutes. This 30 minute time frame must includes five-minutes for questions and discussion. We recommend targeting 20-25 minutes for your presentation to allow as much Q&A time as possible. Session chairs will be instructed to start/stop each presentation on time, so please keep this in mind when preparing your presentation.

Presenters will be required to use their own laptop to present. HDMI and USB-C connectors will be available, as well as an audio plug-in connector cord (if their presentation containssound), will be available.Should you need a different connector, please reach out sothatcan be secured for your presentation. Presenters will have the opportunity to test theirlaptopduring breaks, in the morning, at the end of the day, etc. Wi-Fi internet will be available throughout the conference area."
