• Model-Based Enterprise: Achieving Lasting Value from MBD and MBE – Bryan Fischer, President of Advantage MBE LLC
• Model-Based Definition (MBD), Model-Based Enterprise (MBE), and related model-based approaches are often approached from the point of view of how we work today. From this perspective, many approaches and implementations fall short of the mark and do not achieve the value that a new, digital first approach offers. There are several reasons. There are business reasons, technical reasons, and most are driven by real or perceived organizational inertia and a lack of clarity of what we are trying to do and why. Some of this happens because we haven’t clearly defined the concepts needed to advance the ideas. This presentation will address these issues and offer guidance and ideas to help advance our work.
