RSC2, Inc. Acquires DoD Division of TriMech Services, Including a Prime Position on the Army RS3 and JERDAP Contracts

RSC2 expands its systems engineering, modeling & simulation (M&S), acquisition support capabilities, and prime contract portfolio in support of defense and national security customers through its acquisition of the DoD Division of TriMech Services.

The acquisition of TriMech’s DoD Division enables RSC2, a HUBZone small business, to directly deliver professional and engineering services to Army, DoD, and Federal customers through the addition of two contract vehicles and M&S technologies. Contracts include the Army Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3), contract number W15P7T-19-D-0136 and the Joint Enterprise Research, Development, Acquisition and Procurement (JE-RDAP), contract number W911QY-18-D-0158.

TriMech Services DoD Division brings enhanced capabilities to RSC2 including design engineering, modeling, and simulation. These next-generation technologies provide advanced solutions across the Aerospace & Defense market to meet the needs of the most complex product and system engineering challenges. RSC2 is excited to move forward with engineering services in support of projects such as electro-mechanical design, naval finite element analysis, and surface modeling for CBRNE systems.

Army RS3 & JE-RDAP IDIQ Contracts

Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3): RS3 is a Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Performance Based Services Contract providing customized best value solutions to a diverse group of organizations that span the spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) mission requirements. The RS3 Contract has a $37.4 billion ceiling with a 10-year ordering period (five-year base ordering period and five-year optional ordering period). The RS3 Contract’s primary service areas include but are not limited to Engineering; Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E); Logistics; Acquisition and Strategic Planning; Education and Training Services.

Joint Enterprise Research, Development, Acquisition and Procurement (JE-RDAP): JE-RDAP is a Multiple Award (MA), enterprise-wide omnibus Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle for future research, development, production, procurement, and fielding of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defense systems, equipment, and materiel. The JPEO-CBRND intends to utilize the JE-RDAP IDIQ contract to execute RDAP activities in order to provide CBRNE Defense Systems, Capabilities, Equipment, Supplies and Material; Medical Devices, Radiological/Nuclear Defense Systems, and CBRN Information Systems to the Warfighter.
