Mutual Recognition

INCOSE

NAFEMS and INCOSE have signed a memorandum of understanding and have agreed to support each other’s certification programs through mutual recognition and discounts on application fees.

Individuals who are already certified by INCOSE at any level will be eligible for a 10% discount off the PSE application fee. This discount must be captured at the time of application fee payment and will not be offered retroactively.

Only individuals with a current INCOSE certification are eligible to obtain the discount. This discount may not be transferred to another person. This discount does not apply to membership, testing, or renewal fees. It may not be combined with any other discount.

JSME

PSE certification has received full recognition by the JSME (Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers). NAFEMS and the JSME came to a mutual agreement in recognizing the certification that each organisations offer. More precisely, it has been agreed that the standard and advanced level of PSE and the JSME senior analyst qualifications are equivalent to one another. This implies that an engineer holding one of this certification can be granted the other certificate if he/she requests it. The organisation where he/she got his 1st certificate from will then recommend this engineer to the other organisation and after paying the related fee he/she will then be granted the other certification.
